MTK Conclave 2026
Learning from Past Decades: From Practice to Policy
18 May 2026 | Kolkata, India
Co-organised by

The NNEdPro MTK Conclave 2026 brought together students, healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers to explore the evolving role of the Mobile Teaching Kitchen (MTK) model in advancing public health nutrition. The Conclave was organised in collaboration with Amity University, Kolkata, and focused on translating a decade of grassroots practice into sustainable policy action through global insights, knowledge exchange, expert discussions, and innovative community nutrition initiatives.
The conclave also served as a platform to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, encourage youth engagement, and highlight culturally relevant, sustainable food solutions that could strengthen community resilience and improve nutrition literacy across diverse populations. Participants had opportunities to interact with experts, showcase innovative ideas, and help shape the future of food, nutrition, and health education.
The symposium explored a range of topics related to community nutrition practice and implementation, including:
-
Community-led or community-engaged nutrition interventions
-
Nutrition education and behaviour change in real-world settings
-
Participatory approaches to improving nutrition knowledge and practices
-
Innovations that improve access to nutritious food within communities
-
Evidence and implementation insights from field-based projects
As part of the MTK Conclave 2026, students and professionals were invited to submit posters showcasing nutrition research, implementation projects, and community-based initiatives.
